SAPES 2011 Conference Information
Preparation of Conference papers:
1. It is up to you whether you read your paper (in the traditional, Philosophy of Education style) or use Powerpoint or some other presentation format. AV equipment is available in each conference room.
2. Presented papers are eligible for submission for publication in the SAPES Yearbook. It is custom for Yearbook papers to fall in the 8-15 page range. Past papers can be viewed under the Publications tab of this website.

- Registration fees: $50 for Faculty, $30 for students.
- Registration will take place at the SAPES meeting on Friday, September 30, 2011, on the 4th floor of VCU School of Education.
- This price includes membership in the SAPES organization, a copy of the SAPES yearbook, hors d'oeuvres at Friday's reception and breakfast on Saturday.
- Parking: Feel free to park on the street or in the West Cary Street parking deck. If you park in the deck, you will get a parking pass at Registration to defer parking costs. PLEASE NOTE: The parking deck is not open on Saturday to visitors. There should be ample street parking available.

- Remember to book your hotel room. A block of rooms have been set up for conference attendees at the Linden Row Inn (www.lindenrowinn.com). The conference rate is $89 (plus tax). The hotel is a really cool, old-Richmond boutique hotel and it is located 8/10 of a mile from the conference location!

1. Go to our Group Reservations Page at www.groups.lindenrowinn.com
2. Enter the following Attendee Code: SP11
3. Select your arrival and departure dates and Number of Adults
4. Click on the appropriate Room Type
5. Click on Continue this Reservation at the bottom of the page
6. Complete Contact Information and Payment Information
7. Click on Terms and conditions check-box and hit Submit to complete reservation process
- The conference rate is available until September 9th or until the room block is sold out.
