SAPES consists of scholars from various disciplinary backgrounds who meet annually to discuss issues related to the philosophy of education and other foundational concerns. Included are philosophers, historians, sociologists and anthropologists of education, K-12 practitioners, as well as others whose work illuminates the relationship between schools and wider society.
